As a senior beauty makeup artist in Toronto, May takes time out every year to learn new skills and grasp the pulse of fashion. She was trained in makeup styling at the Film and Television Department of Beijing Film Academy.

In 2014, she led the makeup team to become the Miss China hosted by Phoenix TV. The only makeup sponsor of the Toronto Division of the Global Competition. In 2015, she became the star of the National TV Station Overseas Spring Festival Gala. The host appointed a makeup stylist.
